Nashville, TN based Left + Right Music was established by Graham Waks in 2008 in the rocky mountains of Colorado. After two years of teaching drum lessons and several piles of recording gear stuffed into a college dorm room, it was time to expand. The first installment of Left + Right was in a cramped 11x14ft rehearsal room, where you had to wait till 3am before it would be quiet enough to record. After a year of roughing it, we made a move into a two room 300sq ft facility. At this point Left + Right Music began to expand further into touring, teaching, and recording. A year after moving into the second location over twenty records had been made at Left + Right, with some of the top bands from Denver, Boulder, and Ft. Collins. After two years in Colorado, Graham wanted something new for Left + Right Music. He packed up the drums and studio, said goodbye and headed east to Nashville, Tennessee. Now after a year and half hiatus, Left + Right Music is up and running with a larger team, more services, and a brand new 1,000sq ft recording/teaching studio.
With the transformation well under way, Left + Right Music now offers a greatly expanded list of services. Business will continue as usual with the recording studio and drum lessons, but we now offer recording/mixing instruction, recording studio consultations, custom acoustic treatments, and online drum tracking. Left + Right Music will continue to push boundaries and help musicians in Nashville and around the world make their goals a reality.
